Advice - Saskatchewan

Hi Guys,

Just seeking advice from on below scenarios:

1) I applied for Saskatchewan on 11-Jul-2015 and its application status is still 'Application Received'. I am not sure if my application will make it to next stage or not.

2) Recently Saskatchewan has announced International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand program, which has my occupation.

Now should i go for 2nd option? or if i go for 2nd option, then how to go for it? should i cancel my prev app and apply a fresh app? what are the risks in going for 2nd option?

I guess it is not possible to apply at two subcategories under the same category , If you have already applied to International Skilled Worker - Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category then you may not be able to apply under International Skilled Worker - Occupations In-Demand Sub-Category ; If you do that, they might correlate the bio-data information of both the applications and end up cancelling both of them ;

If you are sure that your submitted documents under the express entry sub category would pass the eligibility, test then wait for the fruit ; if dubious, then mail to immigration@gov.sk.ca and ask them to cancel your submitted application under express entry sub-category with a request to submit a fresh application under occupation in demand sub-category

For option 1: I am eligible for their criteria but i am not sure if they are going to consider my application for further processing because i have heard they are considering applications till 1st July while mine was received on 11th.

If you have submitted successfully your application and received the acknowledgement, they will must consider your application, its an year's quota which they have to fill by anyhow;

also after deadline, application cannot be submitted and when you try submitting, an error pops up which says "quota for this category has already been reached and wait for next year"

I have also applied for "International Skilled Workers - Express Entry" on 2nd August,2015 and get application Number and show status as 'Application Received'. But I don't think I will get nominated for ISW-EE and therefore, I would like to apply for "International Skilled Workers - Occupations In-Demand".

I was making an other application(just for testing purpose) on https immigration. saskatchewan . ca and they have not asked me for which Program I want to apply for. They are showing for by default 'Express Entry' only.

So how can we mentioned that for what program we are applying for? It's too confusing.

Guys if you want to apply under that category then u hav to withdraw your previous application an then submit t new one.
They will not accept 2 applications under different categories simultaneously.
