I hoping and praying that what i send is enough to prove that we are in a genuine relationship, i want to address all red flags that me and hubby have. thank you!

Do you think i have enough proof to send?

- Print screen of skype call logs (we don't usually chat. we do video call most of the time)
- few Pictures of our video calls
- facetime pictures
- Phone logs
- Few Facebook chat/wall post/greetings
- Western receipts
- Letter from friends and co-workers
- Wedding photos and reception
- few picture of us together
- Fedex receipts of packages i send to canada

PS: we have a joint bank account in PH. we are saving money little by little incase we encounter any emergencies. ( do you think i should include our joint account?)
My husband got a life insurance in canada and named me as his beneficiary should i include that as well?

thank you for all the help and replies!

Send both! Any mail that you can scrounge up that is titled to each of you at the same time is helpful.

I'm sure it doesn't matter where you save your money, it's still showing CIC that you have the funds to support yourselves in Canada. I'm sure once you're in Canada you'll be bringing the money with you, right?

Even in common law you can use time lived together in other countries, it's the proof of cohabitation that CIC is looking for. As long as the joint account shows both your names I would assume that to be fine.

100% yes! Joint bank account and life insurance, is actually more important to show than most of the other proofs you have on your list.

It's completely normal. This is an overwhelming process! Haha. To help you out this is what we sent (and we applied common-law which I believe needs to pretty on point with enough documents, a marriage certificate makes a huge difference for spouses,).

-copy of the introduction page on my work insurance (naming boyfriend as beneficiary, this dated back to just a few months after we started dating)
-a letter titled to each of us, 1 each from every month going back about a year and half
-phone logs going back a year and a half - I sent them the earliest and latest 3 months, highlighting boys number to show I called him a minimum of once a day consistently over this time
- copy of Facebook page listing us as couple - what has the world come to?! Hahaha
-stat dec of common law (this is optional when spouse is not a co-signer, we rent off a friend and could not provide lease so sent this as extra)
-2 stat decs from friends and family (this is a common law requirement but couldn't hurt)
- a photo copy of a title page and void cheque from our joint account
-a photocopy of our dental insurance cards, a policy that's in both our names
- about 25 photos of our relationship; captioned with who's in it, who took it, when and where
- A 2 page essay written by me documenting our timeline from my POV (once again this was optional but put my mind at ease)

We went for quality over quantity. Since I should be at the COPR stage right about now it would seem this was enough to win over our officer so I'm sure you are fine. Good luck!

He should have a copy of his policy already at home, which clearly shows both his and your name on it. A photocopy of that would be fine.

Include your rent receipt with both names on the receipt and any utility bills or car registration papers.

I personally can't get a joint bank account because both in her country and mine, they do not allow adding someone to your account unless they show up in person to sign some papers.

I think he made me his beneficiary on his medical insurance at work also. i think he added when we weren't an official couple back then (courtship days). will that work as well as a proof? although i cannot use the card his employer said i couldn't use it unless i am in canada.

You didn't send a joint rental agreement, joint utility bills and filed taxes together? I sent in the same documents as you did and VO Vienna wants to see the three things I mentioned as additional proof. I applied as common-law as well. Slowly freaking out

It sounds as if the OP is living in PH while her hubby is living in Canada.

You stated you applied Common Law. There are completely different requirements to prove common law cohabitation as opposed to legal marriage.

Make sense?

No rental agreement because like I said we live in a suite in a friend's house. When we sent the app our friends were in Mexico for a few months so couldn't get stat decs from them. It was also mentioned on our common-law stat dec.

Utilities, bills and stuff was part of this;
-a letter titled to each of us, 1 each from every month going back about a year and half

We submitted Option C for sponsorship which actually named him as single because we weren't officially common-law when he filed last. When we file this year it will be as common-law.

It varies VO to VO, we had a very straight forward, easy case with no red flags.

I know but benjis_monikuss applied as common-law as well. We included the same documents in our applications. For VO Sidney it was enough, for VO Vienna not. They requested more additional proof of living together. They want EVERYTHING listed on the CIC website. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=347&t=14 And we don't have everything :-(
