I have a few questions about my current situation
- I have a current TFV that expires in January 2017. It is linked to my current employer
- I will be losing my job shortly
- I have a common law spouse on an open working visa linked to mine
- I am going to receive 8 months salary continuance
- I am a professional who was on a visa as a Management transfer for an international company
My questions are
- Does my spouses visa become invalid when I leave work?
- Does my visa and right to reside in Canada become invalid when I leave work
- We're going to apply for PR via the Express Entry system - we should get to 500+ pts without any other LMIA, etc - can I convert onto a Bridging Open Work Visa once we get acknowledgement of receipt?
