I am almost done filling out all the documents but am stuck with the following question due to our circumstances - ( Are you living together now: and if yes how long have you been cohabiting together and give periods of time?

Currently, we are applying through Class of Application: #3 Currently living in Canada and applying under the Family Class. My husband (US Citizen) is now here and has been here exclusively since Nov 2016. We have been married for 10 years ( I had lived with him in the US for half that time). We have 2 kids and when we decided to move back up to Canada we never got his paperwork submitted. He has been self-employed and would stay in Canada for weeks and/or months at a time before crossing again into the US and re-entering. Now we have decided to have him settle here in Canada exclusively and have gathered everything up and ready to mail but this question just has me stumped as I don't want to contradict the fact that we have stated that he resided in the US officially during that time but was together as a family unit in Canada for 5 years.

I literally have everything ready to be mailed off but this last page :(

Thank you in Advance

Are you applying inland or outland ? You can apply outland while your husband is here in Canada . If you apply inland then you can get an owp ..

We are applying outland with the new option of him living in Canada. And with outland we should have everything completed in less the 6 months based on others experiences.

Sorry after re-reading I don't think that I made it clear that within the last 5 years we have been living together in Canada but he always maintained a visitor status in Canada and never exceeding 6 months. So I'm seeking recommendations on How I should answer the questions: Are you living together? and if so for how Long? When technically his residence is in the US and has been visitor in Canada during this time?

I am on visitor status in Canada. Have been since feb 26, 2017. I selected box three as this will be where I am spending most of my time with my husband and will only be doing small trips back to the USA

Yes, you are living together. If he has been living with you for 5 years, then put 5 years.
