Advice Needed - Status Reinstated

Hello,

If possible you guys could help me , I have a huge dilemma, my post graduate work permit expired and I have 90 days to re apply for something new to renew my status in Canada, i have been job searching for the past 6 months and no one is willing to sponsor a foreign worker, have my profile in express entry and i recently withdrew my profile and resubmitted it with hopes I will get invitation from Ontario.

I would like to pursue my masters but that only starts in September so I was trying to take courses or register for some classes in between to reinstate my status. Algonquin college wont give me a letter of acceptance for part time courses to apply for a study permit - they told me unless i enroll in a full time program and I dont need their full time program especially paying all those international student fees then pay for masters after.

Does anyone have any ideas or any advice on what to do ? i am still hoping i will get an invitation , only have 444 points , experience as a property administrator/ real estate . I need to file for something before the end of December.

Based on the information you've provided, your only option is to apply to restore your status and change your status to visitor.

did you applied for any kind of status ?? have you already applied for PR ?

Are you eligible for any of the IEC stream programs? This would give you an 'Open Work Permit' for a fixed period.

@ JoacRy - I have not checked the IEC stream , haven't even heard about it actually.

@akhil5293 I was on an open work permit, I am in the EE stream but yet to receive an invitation and I am also waiting for my french exam results so I can add that to my profile, I got B1 on the listening so waiting for the writing and speaking.

I have till end of next month to apply for something and restore my status and right now it is looking like applying to be here as a visitor is my only option and if I get my letter of acceptance for my masters by March I can apply to start in one of their preprograms for May.

does anyone know what happens if I sent in my application to restore my status along with a request for a visitor visa and during that time i receive a nomination ?

Do i have to wait to get the visitor visa back first before I can send in my documents for the nomination?

You could get admission to a private college and apply for a student visa pending your masters admission, all you'd have to pay is application fee and then defer your admission

The issue I was having is they wanted me to pay half the tuition which is about $7000 so I will just go on to apply for visitor visa and i just got my PT from ontario this morning. so I will apply to restore status and visitor visa and accept invitation from province of Ontario
