Hello Guys
It is my first post here. Thank you so much for the valuable information provided through this forum. i have three questions:
- I was born in Syria as a Palestinian refugee. I hold a Travel Document for Palestinian Refugee in Syria. Thats means I am a Palestinian refugee in Syria but of course not Syrian ( Syrians hold Syrian passports). At the same time, although I am a Palestinian refugee, I am not a Palestinian because I do not have a Palestinian passport. Some countries like Germany called us Stateless. In this. case what nationality should I choose for my express entry?
- I need help to choose the best NOC for the following duties and responsibilities:
Title: Programme Support Consultant
Employer: UN agency
- In line with the UN policies, draft project documents, work plans, and follow up on the quarterly financial reporting
- Ensure timely implementing partners submission of data and monthly reports for analysis and monitoring purposes
-Evaluate project activities systematically
- Follow up on third-party monitoring reports and actions taking towards addressing the recommendations
- Support the preparation of distribution plan for kits
-Keep updates documents on file
- Provide logistical support for the project
- I need help to choose the best NOC for the following duties and responsibilities:
Title: Local Security Assistant
Employer: UN agency
o Liaising and coordinating with the local government security organizations;
o Maintaining the Security Plan, including updating staff lists;
o Maintaining Minimum Operational Security Standards (MOSS) for equipment;
o Assessing the security situation at the duty station;
o Identifying Emergency Communications equipment needs (MISTS);
o Conducting security evaluations and providing advice on security measures for the residences of UN staff and UN offices;
o Organizing training courses on security issues/awareness and preparedness;
o Other security tasks assigned by the SA/ASC/FSCO.
- Last question
For the first job, the real duties that I have been performing are dramatically different from those listed in the contract. What is listed in the contract is less than 30% of what I am doing in reality. I have been managing the whole project and acting as a programme manager for years. Knowing that I can ask my supervisor to reflect the real duties in the referene letter, should I do so? or I should stick to the duties as stipulated in the contract
