Hello
I would appreciate if somebody could comment and provide a feedback on my case.

I recently completed my 2 years of work experience in Canada on a Work Permit and was planning to file for PR under Canadian Experienced class.I have been working as a software consultant.
However during this work period of two years my payroll has been running from US based company where I was originally employed.I have been working in Canada as an intra company transfer during this period. So eventually my pay stubs and IT return were all US based.Since it was a case of intra company transfer the company was exempt from taking a Labor Market Opinion too.
Reading through the CIC website it appears that i qualify to apply for PR under CEC,however i am not sure what are my chances of getting a PR without pay stubs and T4.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome

Do you have any documentation on being an intra company transfer? Can you get a letter from your Canadian boss stating that you have been working full time in Canada as a software consultant from date1 through date2, total number of hours = x?

As somebody who is residing in Canada, you likely have to file taxes in Canada as well on your foreign income so you should talk to a tax consultant and find out about that. You can file your taxes for the 2 years back in time, it's not a serious thing, also wont cost you too much because US and Canada have a tax treaty.

Then apply with whatever you have and see what happens.

Thanks for the info Leon.

The challenge in my case is that i can only get a support letter of my full time work in Canada as software consultant(with number of hours etc) from the US branch of the company since my reporting was to the US branch during my deputation in Canada.DO you think it is mandatory to have this reference letter from Canadian employer only?

If the US branch includes your location of employment as being in Canada, it could still work.
