Advice is desperately needed please..

My application have been received by CIC on 13th December 2011, since that I haven’t received any thing from them, however, the CIC has updated the NOC list and the cap was reached on 14th February 2012.
Do anyone have any clue if my application has been counted in, or it will be returned.
My NOC is 2151, the processing office is Cairo, Egypt and I have no idea if they withdraw the check because the bank couldn’t advise so.
I appreciate your advices… thanks a lot..

as per my knowledge , please check whether your DD or payment is cashed in or not , if yes than you dnt need to worry.....
but i guess you will be in .. since its two months since you have applied.

CAP reached after 2 months of your application reaching CIO.
I strongly feel you should be in. Keep Cool.

Does CIC cash the payment on the same day they start processing the file?

u shld be within da cap. noting to worry also if returned july 1 is nt very far..

CIC does not start processing your file before en-cashing your payment so once your bank draft has been en-cashed, they will work on your file.

How to Contact the Centralized Intake Office:
If you are a federal skilled worker, federal investor, Quebec-selected skilled worker, Canadian Experience Class or provincial nominee applicant and you have a request for case information, you may contact the Client Service Unit of the Centralized Intake Office.

You will not receive a reply to your email if:

1) you have not already applied under one of the above categories
2) you are not authorized to receive personal information
3) you applied within the last six weeks
4) your enquiry concerns any other topic.

Please do not send the same enquiry more than once. You can reach the CSU at

CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

So you can write an e-mail to CIO, with all the information in it, like DD number, date of DD made, Bank Name, your name, DOB, Passport Number, When you sent your application, when it was delivered at CIO.
They will definately reply you......


I did this for my friend and they replied after one week................ her cap was reached and they write in their reply that " your application is returned on ------ due to CAP reached
