I'm the sponsor, my husband is the PA - we applied (outland) for PR November 2019. Passed medicals in Jan 2020 and had prior biometrics from (refused) TRV. They started processing Nov 5 2020 (New Delhi office), and no news whatsoever since then. Have contacted my MP multiple times. They are still working on eligibility last we heard. Have applied for GCMS notes. Husband is currently in India, and I am finishing my degree in the US. He has an F2 for USA so we have seen each other about every 3 months in the last 3 years - either he comes here or I go to India. I'm pregnant and due in July. He's coming mid May to start taking care of me, and helping (hopefully) the move back to Canada. I'm concerned that the way things are going we won't have a decision or passport received in the two months before he comes here, and we are considering applying (this would be the 5th time) for TRV from USA once he gets here, in the hopes that a last ditch effort would mean I could deliver in Canada with my husband at my side. I know time and those previous refusals are not on our side, and neither does it seem is compassion on the part of the IRCC, but does anyone have any positive experience or useful suggestions - or see something I am not considering that may help us to be together for that time? I genuinely do not need more pessimism because my hormones and current feelings towards what was supposed to be a 12 month max process has me at an all-time low. Yes, I am considering staying in the US to deliver but it is really not ideal for a myriad of reasons that I won't get into here. I know many of us are in the same boat. Thanks for your thoughts.
