Hello everyone.

I just wanted to ask for some advice please.

I've got a 2 year open work permit through IEC. Me and my partner are going over to Toronto where I've got a job and planning on working and also taking leave from our jobs and travelling around Canada.

I am in a skilled occupation NOC2242, I know that at the end I will want to stay. I know with this type you can't renew it. I'm currently in the pool of candidates for express entry under the FSWP, I have an ECA and I've done IELTS but I plan to better my score in Canada on their much more straight forward computer based test all to gain more points. I know with 1 years Canadian work experience ill have 484 points.

So the employer I've found in Canada in my skilled occupation has a net turnover from what I can read online of $750,000CAD. Although any links to good websites where I can look up their turn over would be greatly appreciated. Problem is their within the GTA area (Mississauga) which falls under the over 1 million+ turn over required which seems crazy. Its worth mentioning the company has been trying to recruit someone with my skill set and experience for over 12 months and they are willing to help me get PR.

Here is my question what is the easiest way to get PR as the LMIA seems like gold dust from what I read on the forums and could that even work if I'm already working for the employer.

I know its not a great plan but would it be worth after a year worth looking at moving to a different company in either Alberta or British Columbia as I have connections their, or any other province for a better PNP program, or are they worse than Ontario because with Alberta I think they require an LMIA even for PNP?

If I move to a bigger company. Realistically could I stay in Canada if I started the process 1 year into my 2 year permit, or would it take longer and my permit would expire and I would have to leave. As I heard with PNP if you get it you can apply for a temporary permit until you get PR from CIC.

Please somebody help as I'm lost in the process.

Your comments are much appreciated thanks :)

P.S. It seems mad that there are employers desperately seeking out my skill in Canada, yet the process is incredibly complex and long.
