Adult ADHD - PA - Medical Impact on PR

Hi All,

Please let me know if I am diagnosed with Adult ADHD, will that make me unfit for candian PR.

Otherwise I am living and working normail.

I dont think Adult ADHD will make problems but when you go for a medical they do a couple of things , physical medical ( eye testing , height , blood pressure ) , then you would need to go for a blood test which would be for VDRL ( blood test for infections i believe ) and HIV , then you need to go for urine test and then chest X ray to see if you have tuberculosis.

Once all is done you would need to go to a doctor who will check heart beat , feet , skin on body and ask questions related to your medical history . Now in this whole story is it possible for anyone to know if you have ADHD ?? It might show up in urine test if you are taking regular medicines . THey do ask to fill a form and tell them if you are taking any regular medicine.

I would advise to discuss this case with your neurologist doctor and see what he says .
