Hello there,

Is anyone's Parent's who have received COPR prior March 2020 and have booked their tickets for May /June 2020 from India for travel here.

India is still underlockdown , has anyone emailed Cic asking for an extension for their COPR ?

If so what has Cic replied back has cic given an extension is it via a letter or we have to get the entire process of Visa stamping to be done.

No flights from India as international travel is closed for now

Is anyone in the same situation please let know
Thanx

Ok so what happens incase the COPR isn't expired yet but I need to still inform cic via web form that my parents can't travel here due to lockdown in their country and there are any flights started as of yet.
So my original question was is anyone in the same boat as me and if so what has Cic given a reply as in for extension ??

The situation is fluid so the flights may be running before the COPR expires. When does their COPR expire? There is not much you can do but wait and see whether flights start running and apply for an extension if they are not able to travel by the time their COPR expires.

You will have to see the situation in June. There won’t be indefinite extensions so your parents are going to have to travel even if the virus is still an issue.

My parents are not worried traveling amidst ths situation .The problem currently is there are no flights international flights from India to Toronto as of today due to a nation wide lockdown... and the lockdown might continue till June
