Hello, Please help!
I have done BTech -Information technology (2.7 gpa) i have applied for seneca college for sep13 intake iam waiting for the reply can i get admission for computer programming course (2 yr diploma). I heard that they require mim 3/4gpa. plz help me out guys :(

I think you should have read their requirements first, usually in the program websites, before you applied admission. Unless you have a great work experience, high English scores and/or published papers to support your low GPA, the university will reject your application. Sorry but I have to tell you that will be a waste of time applying if your academic standing does not match their minimum requirement.

In general an applicant with a GPA below 3.0 isn't eligible for MS or PhD program. However, many schools have an option for such applicants to go for a certificate program and take grad level courses as a non-degree student. If a student maintained a high GPA he can reapply to a degree program in 1-2 semesters and transfer a limited number of credits earned for a certificate. This option is predominantly for domestic students. The main challenge in that case for overseas applicants would be obtaining a visa because as far as I know international students have to be enrolled in a degree program.
