Hi everyone. Well, for almost a year I`ve been working in a Real Estate Office as an Administrative Assistant for 2 Realtors. My bosses just pay me hourly and I work 30h per week, however they said I work as an Independent Contractor. That means all my experience I`m getting as an Adm Assistant will not count towards Canadian Experience Class? Because I don't own a business or something and I have my set hour to start and finish my job, as well I`m paid per hour etc. I just do not want to screw my bosses with CRA.
I saw some cases here so I was thinking of applying under CEC but I have the risk of getting rejected. I`m just very anxious and nervous about that. Fortunately though I have 3 year PGWP, so still I have some time to change jobs as well however I was counting in applying now under CEC. Anyways.
