Adequate financial position

Hi

I have adequate savings in terms of PFs, mutual funds, etc. but do not have them in my bank account obviously. Would my statements for these savings suffice or do I need them in my bank account? Please help. Thank you

PF is fine. MF will not be accepted as markets are volatile.
You could covert that money to bank account and show source as MF, so no 6 months history needed.

Thanks Anoop. When should I transfer funds from MFs to bank account. Do I need to keep them for 3 months or can I just transfer few days before submitting the documents in case of an invite.

You can transfer anytime, but you just need to show the documentary proof of transfer.
