you dont need to mention your vacation, as long as you dont leave your canada address during your vacation. for example you are living in the canada for 4 years and you went out for 3 weeks to France for a vacation. You dont change your address right, you still leave in canada .sonono said:Please guys needs your`s help. during the past 4 years i went bak to my home country and i was visiting another country for vacation (3 weeks).I had already mentioned that in details in residennce calculator,I have to mention also the adresses even in vacation!!
I second that. The most important thing is: do not leave any gaps. Each day has to be covered.hoping_canadian said:you dont need to mention your vacation, as long as you dont leave your canada address during your vacation. for example you are living in the canada for 4 years and you went out for 3 weeks to France for a vacation. Well, you list it in the residence calculator as the 'vacation/work (whatever that was) time' (and probably will get slapped with RQ due to the length of the vacation), but unless your Canadian address changed, you don't have to put it in the form. But if you moved out of the country for those 4 months, you gotta list it.sonono said:What if i was out of the country for 4 months?? is`t the same
Thank you yuys for help
I do not think thats right. I am sorry. If you leave for vacation whereever, you have to mention that address. As for example, I have taken 3 months vacation in the last 3-4 years to visit my family, I have mentioned those in the address form... I am not selling my house for three months and then getting a new one after vacation... I do not know the right answer but my logic says: mention the address if you are gone for like 3 weeks... 3 weeks is a good amount of time... a vacation of 4 months or 6 months does not means a slap, lol... i took one year as parental leave... do u expect me to stay here.. No, I am going for vacation, see my family... lol....aed said:Well, you list it in the residence calculator as the 'vacation/work (whatever that was) time' (and probably will get slapped with RQ due to the length of the vacation), but unless your Canadian address changed, you don't have to put it in the form. I spoke to cic canada and told me to write only residential address in past 4 year history where your actual home was. Al the vacations needs to go to residency calculatorsept15 said:I do not think thats right. I am sorry. If you leave for vacation whereever, you have to mention that address. So, if you want my suggestion: put the address you stayed there and of course, you are going to write Vacation (in the other Section)....
did you speak with another agent after 5 minutes... just kidding.. whatever works bud, I did it my own way, I guess... lolthecoolguysam said:I spoke to cic canada and told me to write only residential address in past 4 year history where your actual home was. No. You reside in Canada. You don't list any time away in the form unless you move out. You have to mention it in the calculator though.sept15 said:I do not think thats right. I am sorry. Well in the residence calculator you just mention your last destination... As for example, if you moved out from Canada on Jan 1, 2014 to India but you decided to stay for 2 weeks in Sweden, 2 weeks in Paris and 2 weeks in Kabul before reaching your destination (India) and then stay in India for 3 months and then fly back to Canada on May 16. In this case, your absence will be ONE line (Jan 1 to May 15 - India)... but of course, you will mention the names of the countries in the explanation box: Sweden, Paris and Kabul. Where are you mentioning addresses here for Paris, Sweden and Kabul...?aed said:No. You reside in Canada. You don't list any time away in the form unless you move out. when you fill residence calculator form, it says that if you have multiple destinations then mention it in the reason and you have 400 characters to mention them....sept15 said:Well in the residence calculator you just mention your last destination... Were you residing in all those countries? If yes then put it in the form. No, then one line in the calculator - holiday trip to India, Sweden... You don't need to provide any addresses in the calculator. Let's not confuse people here. Everyone should follow the guide and CIC advice.sept15 said:Well in the residence calculator you just mention your last destination...
