Hi everyone,

I will be submitting my outbound application (Mexico City) to sponsor my SO shortly.

The question I have pertains to the mailing address we should use. We are currently both in Canada and are renting an apartment, however in September will be going traveling for 3-4 months, at which point I was planning on using my parents (in Canada) address.

1 - Should I submit the application with my current address, then submit a request of address change afterwards with my parents address. If I have not recieved corespondence from CIC can I still use the change of address application on their website?

Or

2 - Submit my parents address on the application initially and include a letter to explain where I live now, and how starting September we will be out of the country traveling

How much of the communication from the CIC comes via 'paper mail' vs email?

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would go with option 2. Use your parents address and send an additional letter explaining your living circumstances.
