Hey Everyone,

So in my PR application I listed my mailing & residential address as Hawaii, however when I entered Canada again a few weeks ago they gave me a Visitors Record so does that make me a Temp Resident? Should I be changing my residential address to the Canada addy? And also should I change my mailing address to my Canada address since I plan to be in Canada for the vast majority of time while my PR is being processed? Any help is welcome! Thanks guys.

Bettina

Yes.

thanks i did see that. but change both addresses? or just mailing OR residential? and if i change residential to canada that won't affect my applying outland instead of inland?

The only address that really matters is the mailing address. If you have a year-long VR though, I'd change both, but the important thing is they mail you at the correct place.

Visiting Canada doesn't affect the processing of your application outside Canada. (The reverse is true, in that an inland app can be affected if you leave Canada.)

great! thanks for your help!
