Hi guys

I have a question that should I change my address or not.I am going to study out of my hometown...during my study I will rent/share a roomand will be come to my home every Friday till Monday morning. So
I am confused that should I chymy address on my drivers Licence or not as I am keeping my same car over there that I am using right now. Moreover I am spending atleast 3 days in a week at my home for sure...there's a possibility that I can come home even in weekdays whenever I get free early.
Any experience about such a situation.

Thanks

Your province's insurance corporation advises to update your insurance if there are any changes in your driving style (e.g. from pleasure to work/pleasure; mileage per day increases or decreases, etc.). Otherwise, you risk being denied any insurance claims. But as far as CIC is concerned, the address on file should match the one on your ID -- the ID you will present at the day of the interview. If you change it on your DL, you should advise CIC of the address change as well.
