Address change with Visitor Visa

Hi everyone,

I just moved back to Canada from Japan. My common-law partner has also come with me on a visitor visa, also from Japan.
Our OUTLAND application was sent from Japan in December and, just recently, I have been approved as a sponsor.

I've sent a request to change my address using the online system just now. However, my partner is debating whether or not to extend her visitor's visa if she doesn't get PR before it expires.

Question: If she plans to extend her stay here, should I also be changing her home address to where she's staying with me as well? Currently her's is still our home address in Japan.

Hi

Yes, change her address to the Canadian one so that her COPR will be mailed there and not to Japan.
