I am a canadian citizen living with my wife (a U.S. perminent resident) in the U.S. Sponsorship application already submitted in July 2008 and is in process now. We have moved from our privious address to a different address. My wife already sent a Fax to Visa Office in Buffalo NY, using the form which was provided to inform them of any change of information in the family, including address change. This was done in early december 2008. However, I have no way of confirming that the new address was indeed updated. I am moving to our new address in first of January 09 and am wondering how can I confirm that the new address is updated in Visa Office in Buffalo, NY.
- Should I contact them and ask them if the change of address is successful?
- Should I just leave it alone, and wish it's successful?
What if they didn't receive the fax (change of address) for some reason, and here, I am assuming that the address change is successful...
Please advise...
