Hi,

Please confirm if I will get the additional points for 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada.
Landing date in Canada - Dec 1st 2017
Leaving date from Canada - Dec 2nd 2018
Work permit date - Dec 1st 2017 to Dec 31st 2018
Work start date (payroll start date) in Canada - Dec 4th 2017
Work end date in Canada - Nov 30th 2018
Original offer letter dates - Oct 23rd 2017 to Dec 28th 2018

Technically I have been on payroll for 52 weeks (40 hours per week). If i consider 30 hours for these 52 weeks, I am hitting the 1560 hours mark as per CRC eligibility.

But since my work start and end dates doesn't exactly meet 1 year, I have this confusion.

Hi,

Work start date (payroll start date) in Canada - Dec 4th 2017
Work end date in Canada - Nov 30th 2017 2018?

These are the relevant dates when calculating experience.

Technically I have been on payroll for 52 weeks (40 hours per week). If i consider 30 hours for these 52 weeks, I am hitting the 1560 hours mark as per CRC eligibility.

If you were full-time, you do not count hours, so "1560 hours mark" is not relevant.

But if you can show that you worked at least 30 hours in week #52, your final week (as well as all other weeks), then it might be accepted. It's really just one day (plus the weekend) that you're missing, so ...

Thanks for the response, and yes my job was full time and as per CIC website, 1560 hours applies for full time job as well.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=664&top=29

1560 hours is the equivalent of 30 hours per week, given so that part-time workers can calculate their Full-time equivalence. There is simply no need to count hours if you are full-time.

I have pay stubs for 52 weeks with no less than 30 hours per week for each week.
Then I would say that you have qualified (or will, since Nov 30 remains in the future).
