I am Kemi, I have sent in the documents for the entire family but there is an addition to my family, do I need to wait until I am asked to go for medicals before notifying them of the addition or do I need to send in the documents(passport,birth certificate,fees etc) of the new baby before then.

Congratulations , do not waste time , mail them Copy of birth certificate , passport of your new born , along with DD for CAD 150/-

Submitt forms , when they will ask you to do so ,

congratulation is better you notify them with the following:
Data page of baby international passport
4passport photograph immigration specification
Birth certificate
150canadian dollar payable to"the receiver general canada"
imm008 to update them about your new status
this will enable them to send your medical together with the baby and safe you of waiting game.
i wish you luck.that is how,i did mine last year but know am a PR holder..
