Additional Family Information (Father / Mother Divorced)

Dear Members,

Can you please guide me on below issue:

My mother and father are divorced. I live with my mother. Father is not in contact for last 22 years. I only know that he passed away but have no idea about the date he died.

Now for additional family information, it requires to give present address of the father and in background declaration it requires to give the date of death, if deceased. I have no information about him, I don't know what to write. Please help!!

my friend had a very simlar case, he wrote fathers name and for all other information about father he wrote N/A. His application was approved you can do the same, and possibly add a cover letter explaining the situation

just for information i want to know that along with background check of family members....do they do background check of additional family members too..........

otherwise as said above you can write n/a in this case and provide written explanation
