Do CIC EVER ASK FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS MORE THAN ONCE??
I GOT ASKED FOR SOME DOCUMENTS, JUST WONDERING IF PEOPLE KNOW IF THIS IS A ONE TIME DEAL?
OR CAN THEY ASK FOR DOCUMENTS ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS?
ANY RESPONSE IS APPRECIATED.

Unlikely but it can happen depending on your personal history. For instance, CIC can ask for a CELPIP upload first and Schedule A later.

they can ask for as many docs as they want, have seen quite a few people being asked for additional documents multiple times.

I received a document request from CIC this morning. The request letter wrote:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:

 Schedule 4 - Prov Nominees: A newly completed Schedule 4 Economic Classes - Provincial Nominees form
This must be received at this office by: 2015/08/12
 Schedule 4A- Prov Nominee: A newly completed Schedule 4A - Economic Classes - Provincial Nominees - Business Nominees form
This must be received at this office by: 2015/08/12

I am nominated under BC PNP, but I do not have my own business, neither self-employed, why CIC ask me to provide Schedule 4A?

Please help. Thank you.

Generic letter. Has happened to others earlier as well.

Upload the Schedule 4 and upload an LOE in the placeholder for Schedule 4A explaining that it doesn't apply in your case.

However, I found there is no PNP category for choose.

I submitted my PR application on July 13 and got my medical passed on July 29. Since then, I have not got any update except for the Schedule 4 request on August 5. My status for background check is "not start".

My question is CIC only require Schedule 4 and Schedule 4A in this request letter, does that mean VO has already examined my application documents and all the required documents have been provided except for the Schedule 4?

I was asked for documents twice after I provided Schedule 4.
