To support my application, I plan to submit following ADDITIONAL documents to CIC to support my claim that I resided in Canada in last 4 years

1. Photocopy of letters from employers (two employer I worked for has given me letter that I worked for them from so date to so date)
a. In one case of 1 employer I worked for only 15 days, so I am going to attach the copy of T4 from that employer
b. For present employer only the copy of recent paystubs
2. All the Tax assessment in last 4 years ( We usually submit TAX assessment in PR renewal application so I believe its OK to submit TAX assessment papers)
3. My rental agreement (I don't have rent receipts)
4. I plan to attach very FEW bank statements or Credit card statements as well
5. Photocopy of all the pages of the passports with stamps in last 4 years.

Any advise on attaching above documents? Overkill? Enough? or any other advise?

Thanks in advance

How do you think it will "support" your application? A friend of mine did the same; sent even the boarding passes and luggage tickets for the trips she took outside Canada and still got an RQ.
Just keep all the paper work handy and send them what they ask for.

It probably won't hurt you to send extra documents, but it probably won't help either. So, unless you've got a really good reason (open work permit for UAE in your passport or a green card in the USA) I don't recommend it.

1. It probably won't make a difference;
2. You're sending a ton of private financial, immigration and personal documents out into the world;
3. Thousands of applicants sending tens or hundreds of unnecessary documents each slows CIC down, takes up archive space, gums up the works.

If you do send documents, especially in response to a specific request like a CIT 520 or RQ, letters are better than nothing, but CIC is very aware that these can be forged, so they're not considered ideal evidence. Notarized letters or affidavits are better. Credit card statements and bank statements, especially partial records are not the best evidence either.

I recommend you limit your extra documentation if you are really want to send it. Also provide a cover letter explaining concisely exactly what it is and why you sent it.

But in general, it's best to just send them what they ask for and follow the instructions
