Additional Doc Request after AOR - IMM 5562 Travel History Supplementary Information

Hi guys,

So my husband and I are FSW-outland applicants, AOR March 27 2017, and yesterday we received a message from CIC asking both of us to upload form IMM5562, that you can find on this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5562E.pdf

When filling out the information for AOR, we mentioned all of our international travels (mostly to the US) from after we were 18. But I studied as an exchange student in the USA when I was 15 for 10 months and he travelled once there when he was 16. Since CIC asks for travels "from 10 years ago or since you're 18, whichever is less", we didn't mention those trips.

But now Im thinking they got the information from the US and think we need to provide those as well, although the form they sent us yesterday mentions the same 18 years rule as well.

Should I put those trips from before we were 18, upload those stamps (especially my student visa) and write a LOE, explaining we were under age? Maybe they didn't realize that.

Has anyone been through that?

How old are you? My guess is that you mentioned about your US visit somewhere else in the application, but didn't include it in travel history.

I'm 23. They share information with the US, so my guess is they saw that somewhere. I never mentioned anything, altho I did mention it in my visitor visa application to canada back in 2015

They do share information with US, but It takes time for them find out something like that. I guess such things show up during background verification. This could be from your visitor visa. Have you submitted fbi PCC by any chance

Well, that might be true. I did not submit FBI PCC, only PCC from Brazil which is the only country we've lived in since the age of 18.

I've uploaded now the form they requested, plus a letter of explanation saying for those trips we were under 18, and the visa and stamps. Hope it's ok. Will let you know.
