Additional 50 points in EE

Hi guys,
I am very confused right now and need ur advise

to start with,
I made EE profile with 457 points and side by side i also in to be nominated for mpnp paper PR filing. My work permit will expire on 22 jan 2020 .So manitoba immigration officer sent my employer an email saying that he can apply for work visa entension that will be LMIA exempt code t13 .
So my question is ,can i use that work visa aling with written job Offer to get additional points right away or i need to get one year experience from date i apply for close work permit
I already have One year experience on pgwp in noc b.

AFAIK, if you have received a PNP nomination for a paper-based application (base nomination), you cannot claim points for PNP under express entry.

If you received an "enhanced" PNP nomination to apply online, that would be express entry (and you can claim the points). AFAIK, the PNP does not suppport a work permit in that case, because you would be eligible under the BOWP program.

Every province has its own rules, I would suggest you contact MPNP with your questions.

Ah, sorry, I understand your question now, you´re asking if you can claim to have a valid job offer with the new work permit.

I would have thought not, but exemption code T13 appears to count -

So as long as your employer is named on the new work permit, and you have already worked for that employer for at least one year, you would only need the future job offer letter (written offer of employment for at least one year after you become PR) to qualify for the 50 points...

Yea i am working for the same employer from past one year but that experience is accumulated while i was on my pgpw . So that one year pgwp exp will count in or i have to do work for another year from the date i apply lmia exempt work permit to get 50 points

One more thing .
Do i need to wait for work permit to arrive in my hands or i can apply right away EE additinal points once i apply online for work permit extension. Thing is online processing time is 111 days .
Note-i will be having supporting letter from MB immigration and Employer job offer fee paid and job letter to when i will be applying for wp.

Hi Having, LMIA exempt work permit doesn't mean that you can claim 50 point for having a job offer for more than a more. You need a letter from your employer, stating that your job is for long term and they will continue you job for long term even after you get PR. I have seen PR rejection for those who have claimed those 50 points on LMAI work permit. If you want to claiming take a letter from you employer.

Yes he is willing to provide one. Other thing is i will be applying for the lmia exempt visa soon . Therefore i will be on implied status .. so during that period can i make EE profile and apply for ita or i have to wait for hard copy of work permit to arrive in my hands

To be eligible for the 50 points, you need to have the work permit in hand.
