Adding wife in application while my application is still in process for PR(PNP)

Hello,

can someone please answer my question. what if i have to add my wife with my application which is currently under process in ottawa for permanent residency . I have applied PR under PNP(provincial nominay program) graduate category. do i also need to update PNP and then update my federal PR file ?

how long it will going to delay my PR if i add my wife.

Yes, you will have to update both the Province and the Federal. You should probably call the Feds first and get their feedback on how to include your spouse. You can then call the Province to see how you should include her in your PNP as well.

Please don't allow this to proceed to PPR because you cannot land without making sure that your martial status change has been reflected correctly.

if you have got the nomination being single and now your file is in Ottawa (or any other office) then simply send an email to your visa office updating them of your marital status then they will ask you to submit some documents for yourself and wife...
