Adding new spouse to visa with undocumented past

Hello all,

My situation is that i have an express entry (PR) application in the final stage (waiting review from immigration officer) outland.

I am going to add my new spouse to my application. My concern is that she was previously undocumented in our current country of residence for a number of years.
She is now legally here.

Has anybody added their spouse to their application with a similar past? As far as i can understand it does not matter as she is now legal and we are applying for PR. Also important is that there was no crime conviction or deportation order for her.

Anyway if you have been in a similar situation please let me know.

I don't know of any such cases but seems like it should turn out fine given that everything is legal now. Might be a longer wait in security screening possibly, but other than that I don't see other problems. You should post your experience here once you have applied to give others in the future a better idea.
