Adding ECA for spouse to express entry profile after submitting

Hi,

I currently have everything ready to submit my express entry profile apart from my partners ECA which we are still waiting for. I do not have much time left until my current visa expires and I am concerned that waiting for the ECA may result in me losing my job as I won't be able to get my BOWP in time, as the next draw might be too late!

Without my partners ECA I would have a score of 433, with it my score should go up to 441.

Can I submit my profile now and then if I don't get an ITA in the next draw, can I add my partners ECA to my profile before the draw after that for more points (I guess this might still be too late, but I may just be able to get the BOWP in time before my visa expires)

I feel that there is a chance we would get an ITA with the score of 433, so I wonder whether we should just go ahead without the ECA for now and hope for the best!

I just need to know if it is possible to add things that will improve your score, once your profile has been submitted, or would we have to create a new profile altogether?

You can update your profile at any time in the pool, as long as you haven't received an ITA yet.

One more question. If we were to get an ITA with the lower score of 433, do you think this would be likely to affect our actual PR application in any way- i.e. would we be more likely to be declined with the lower score of 433 than with the higher score of 441?
