Adding a new child - nightmare and no much time left

Hi guys,

This is a very famous request but I'm confused and unable to find an answer to my specific situation. I have an Express Entry application (online and I'm not in Canada) that is going well but I had to put it on standby as my wife was pregnant and we were not able to do x-ray.

2 months after delivery (she was a little bit sick) we completed the x-ray and took my new child to the doctor to get his medical and also passport so that's is also done.

My question now is how do I add this new born in my application - I received a call from Canada Embassy asking me to speed up and add the new born but they were unable to explain how, they just said follow with CIC.

I created 2 CSE and got only 1 reply after 8days asking me to send some documents (a lot) to Ottawa :

IMM 0008
IMM 5669
IMM 0008DEP
IMM 5406
copy of passport
Birth certificat
Mariage certificat
Payement

Reading this forum people in my situation has just created a CSE and got different answers like uploading the docs into their Express Entry profil so I'm wondering if there is a misuderstanding and they mixed up the cases and thought I'm in Canada.

Please help.

Hi

I don't think that it's a problem at all. After my son was born, I mailed Ottawa 2 times and raised 2-3 CSE,and,after that I got the update in my application. Even I was going to mail all my documents to Ottawa's mail id.

For one of my friend,it took more than one month for update.

So u email them all docs,like Birth certificate ,copy of passport etc.

What is their email address please? Is there any phone number that we can use?
Are you also a province nominee? Do I have to send the docs by mail or just email them? Thanks
