Adding a child born outside Canada on PR

Please can someone guide me on the process of adding a child on the PR if the child is born outside of Canada and if the parents are PR card holders ?

If you are PR and landed, then one of you must be in Canada to sponsor the child. Is one parent in Canada to start the process?

So you landed and got PR before child was born? Or child was born before you got PR and you didn’t add child to your application?

So one of you needs to be in Canada to start sponsorship. When did you become PRs and how much time have you lived in Canada?

First option is to apply for TRV for child and see if approved as visitor. Then can move with child and apply then child is in Canada.

It’s just been few months. Thank you very much for the reply! Time lived inside the country is 0 days . I believe we will have to go via TRV route as we plan to move there

You guys did soft landing to become PR? Or I misunderstand that you actually did spend some days inside Canada?

Yes we did soft landing and returned
