Add Spouse's application into husband's application which is under process

Hello,

My Permanent resident application (Exp Entry) is already in progress. I got married 10 days ago. I have sent my marriage certificate to CIC and in reply they asked me to send my spouse's PR application number along with the copy of her Passport. I am confused at this point as my wife have not started the process and there is no reply from CIC for additional clarification which I requested for.

Also, my wife is with me in Canada under a visitor visa. Her visa expires in a month from today.

Has anyone merged their spouse's application into their application which is in process?

Please help me out.

Wow...They replied back to your CSE within 10 days?

I have sent a CSE with my marriage certificate and spouse supporting documents (Birth certificate, Upfront Medical, PCCs, Application Fee Receipt, IELTS, Education degrees, etc etc) on April 13 and they still have not come back to me with additional requirements.
