Activating PR via appointment

We have an appointment to activate PR, rather than going to the border.

The email I received says I must bring the letter in the email, in addition to my passport and two passport photos.

Is that actually necessary in my circumstance or is it a general request? I ask because we literally just sent them 2 passport photos in order to receive CoPR, and the CoPR letter they mailed back to us includes one of the photos which you would take with you if you were flagpolling.

Surely they don't need yet another 2 photos? This will be the 10 photos we have supplied them between my dependent and myself.

Didn't it say: "2 PR Card sized photos (only bring photos if you do not have one of the photos attached to your printed COPR)."

That's exactly what my email with an appointment to activate my PR said...
