Hello everyone,
I have one question and any information would be much appreciated.
Me and my family just got an email from CIC regarding our PR. They are asking us to send them our passports for visa stamping.
My question is this
Is it possible to enter Canada just to activate our PR status and than go back to my country, since it is not convenient for us to move permanetly to Canada yet? We plan to be at our friends house during our stay in Canada(aproximatly 2 weeks) and they can llater receive our PR cards and send it to ur.Is it legal and possible at all?

Yes there's no problem in doing that...just be aware of the residency requirement for maintaining PR status

You can do that. No issues.

Thank you for the information.
I have one more question regarding this topic.
If me and my family activate PR status and obtain our PR cards, what happens if during that time outside Canada my wife give birth to another child?
Would it be easier for my newborn child to come with us in Canada because we are already PR?
Thank you.
