I've recently got the letter from Canadian Consulate in Detroit that my immigration visa is ready to be issued, so i xpress-mailed my passport over to Detroit with a Canadian Xpress pre-paid envelope included for the return mail from Detroit last week. Trouble is, i need to go to the States for an Ironman race in coming up in Sept (11th). I am just wondering how long the process is for visa issuance for PR purposes and if i would potentially be able to get it back before Sept 1st which is my interview date with US Embassy in Toronto.
