Hello everyone. I need help. I have finished my bcom in 2014. I have the Accounting technician certificate from ICAI. I have 3 years of articleship experience as mandated by ICAI. The work was almost like full time. I want to study CPA in canada. Which is the best option of these two :

1. Take post graduate courses in colleges in canada- apply for PR - then do CPA .

2. Work here in India for a year - apply for PR - and then come and directly do CPA .

I would like to know the best option in terms of job scenario of accountants there.

How far will the accounting technician certificate help??

Hi Ravi
if you want to study CPA in canada good for you because you have already 3 yrs experience. your first option is right for you if in your mind.otherwise your wise. if any problem regarding this then you can visit: http://visahouse.in/immigration-to-canada/ and get more information about PR.

Thank you for your reply. With the articleship experience i can apply ??. I dont have the degree of Chartered Accountancy. Just the articleship experience.

Okay. No my concern was the articleship experience if its considered or not. Since it was stipend based and a part of curriculum.
