I have a US bank account which I intend to use for POF, it currently has the equivalent of roughly CAD $21500 in it, but when I was filling out the application, I put CAD $20000 as the amount I intend to bring to Canada as settlement fund.
Is this going to be an issue? I have already gotten the letter from the bank (it took me some effort to convince the manager to help me with it), and I really don't want to transfer that extra $1500 away and bother the manager with a request for a new letter.
