Accompanying versus non-accompanying spouse?

hi,
Had a question related to the accompanying versus non-accompany spouse. Would be obliged if someone can answer.

I have applied to the Federal Express entry program and selected the option that my spouse will be accompanying me .
1. However, can she join me later once I am settled or does 'accompanying' means literally being physically present together when we fly to canada for the first time after the ITA?
2. If she is not accompany does she has to do the PCC and medical?
3. Can I change my application after the ITA and make her non-accompanying if she decided to join later?
