I have 2 kids and my plan is to go first in Canada (if my PR will be approved) then later on, after establishing myself for a year, Im going to get them. Which must I tick in the form. Accompanying or non accompanying. Thanks a lot for your answers.

you have provided a little detail about your PR application category. anyways in general the terms are defined as such:

Accompanying: if you choose to click/select "accompanying" in your application for your dependents (i.e spouse and kids) then ON your PR application approval your kids and spouse will also get PR status/PR visa. the process of your PR application will remain the same except the additional fee which you have to pay to process your dependents PR. so in short with this option your dependents will get PR status at the same time of yours.

Non Accompanying: if you choose your dependents as NON-Accompanying still you have to submit their details, documents, medical exams etc or which ever documents cic asked related to them and your application will go through the same process as "accompanying applications" the only difference will be that they will not receive a PR status with you and you will again have to go through the lengthy process (2-3 years) to sponsor them in future.

So i dont find any reason why not to click the accompanying option to save both time and money.

Hope it helps

Thanks for the reply kriv. I appreciate it. :)
I will apply in PNP soon.
You mean it will be alright to choose as accompanying although they will come later after I landed in Canada?
Is it necessary that you must all landed with your dependents in Canada at the same time when you choose as accompanying?
