Accompanying a "Minor" family member who has status in Canada

Hi,

I am applying for the work permit extension for my spouse and me. I have a child who is a Canadian Citizen, for the question "Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada?" should my response be yes?
I am confused because I believe being a minor and my dependent and thus technically he is the one accompanying me, or does it not matter and CIC just want to check if any of my family member has a valid status in Canada??

I am applying for BOWP and extending my son's Study permit, in the questionnaire ( Are you accompanying a family member who has a status in Canada?
I am confused because I am the main applicant, and he is accompanying me, so should I answer yes or no? in both cases I will upload his study permit in client info. if I say yes they will ask for it as proof of family status in Canada.
