Other than having to retake the test, what other penalties are there?Hi everyone,
Took my exam last Sunday and I passed the test. I used my husband’s desktop that he is using for work and I just found now that his desktop was connected to a VPN. I am so anxious right now that my exam might be invalidated. Any thoughts?
I suspect IRCC is not in the business of cyber security intelligence so, at worst, you appear to them as not being in Canada, when in fact you are (a fact they could verify by other means). Or, at best, nothing happens and your test is accepted because they don't check your connection details or the IP address you presented was already flagged as a VPN provider.
Just wait a few days and retake the test if it is rejected. Nothing you can do about the test you already took.
