Acceptability of Distance Learning/Online Studies for Immigration

Dear all,

If a student is registering in a Canadian College/University for 4 Years Bachelor of Commerce degree (Human Resource Management) (January 2023 intake) via mode of full time "Distance Learning/Online" and he will complete full program online only than what will be the impact on below;

1. Post Graduate work Permit?
2. Additional CRS points (i.e. 30) for Canadian studies?
3. Regular CRS Points for Bachelor Studies?
4. Recognition in Canadian job market?
5. Acceptance in MBA program in any Canadian University (either online or on campus)?

Please advice along with supporting IRCC references (if possible) this will help student to take right decision? Definitely intention is to apply for PR after completing studies.

If you have a study permit, then to get 1 and 2 you must be in Canada to complete online work. Only 50% of program can be online for PGWP.

3. Need to use the calculator
4. If public DLI, yes it will be recognized. Whether you get a job depends on your skills.
5. So you are applying after undergrad? Depends on grades, experience etc.
