Hi,

In brief, my score was 478 until 31 May. On June 1st my EE score got updated to 518 automatically, because of Canadian Experience.

Now the problem is that I have not completed one year of Canadian experience, yet. On 6th July I will complete one year of Canadian experience.

The 518 score is considering 1 year Canadian experience which I do not have.

Some nice people in the forum suggested that I should decline the ITA as I don't have 1 year experience yet.

Also, some suggested that CIC considers July to June( both inclusive ) as 1 year so I should accept invitation.

What should l I do?

Also, isn't CIC aware of this error? it is CiC which updated my score to begin with.

suggestions please?

I think don't have a problem either way. Even if you reject the ITA - you would get it in the next round and it is rather fool proof. If you accept it, still looks fine.

But if I were you, I would reject it - why take a chance with this - When you know that you are going to get an ITA in 2 weeks?

I would suggest decline ITA and wait till you actually complete one year. I have seen rejections happening on such cases and that too after 6 months. So better decline now, wait for 1-2 months and then get ITA again and apply. atlease you ll have no doubts in your mind then.

I am standing at 473 and my work permit expiring this month.
I have given CELPIP two times
1st time the score was

L-10,R-8,W-6.S-6
2nd tym the score was

L-10,R-9,W-7,S-7

What you suggest that i should give celpip one more time to increase score
Its tricky and i already spent a lot on Celpip

Please guide

Definitely worth a shot. My score of 409 bumped to 478 just because of English. if u can get R&L 10, W&S 9, your score will increase a lot.

I have read in a different forum that in cases like this, you accept the ITA but do not submit your e-APR until you complete one year. At this point, it is up to you to decide because upon accepting it now, you will have only 60 days to submit your application. However, if you decline, you will get another invite in following round(s) till you clock 1 year/52 weeks.

I think I will cancel the current and subsequent ITA, someone in the thread said that there were instances where the application got rejected after 6 months. I don't think I should take chances.

If your WP expires this month, I don't think there is much you can do. The expiry of your WP could make you ineligible (depending on program, POF, etc.).
Any CELPIP/IELTS test you could re-take would come too late. Otherwise, it would have been good to be able to get CLB9 in writing and speaking too.

CRS score for the latest rounds have been just a little bit above your score. Next one in 2 weeks may be a bit lower, or not...

I'd say in your case... hoping to get in next round is the only thing you can do. Hope for the best, and be prepared for it.
Make sure you have all your documents before hand, so you can apply quickly in case of ITA, and then apply for BOWP with AOR.

If I were you, I will reject the ITA and wait till July before applying. Just like you, I received ITA 2 different times and rejected them both because I don't want to take the risk. By the time I submitted my application in December of last year, I was rest assured that if I will get rejected, it won't be because I didn't complete 52 weeks. Fortunately, I received my PPR on May 19. You have a solid CRS points that's certain of being invited again. Do not let the wait of 4 weeks cost you 6 months

Thanks I declined the invitation. I may to reject the next 3 invitations as well.

I might get my PCC in two weeks, would that be valid when I apply in July?

You should be fine with your PCC. I think it's valid for 3 months from the date printed on it

Buy the CELPIP practice test, any of set 1 to 3. Look at the sample writing response. They have a sample for score 7-9 and 10-12, read them both and try to figure out what is the difference.

I agree, writing is scored weirdly. I got 9 in writing myself so may not be the best person to answer this question.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/security/police-cert/intro.asp

"For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply."

"For [other] countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country. [no expiry]

That's very nice of you guys.

You mispresent your experiene (you don't have your experience but you claim you do) to raise your score.
And you get ITA based on your score, and someone 1-2-3 points less still waits because of you.
I had to wait additional two weeks for real ECA number (though it can be guessed) and I could easily receive the ITA before May, but I had to wait to avoid mispresentation. Now I'm stucked because of these unbelievable scores, though my points were pretty decent for April draws.
And I'm really worried about it cause soon I'll start to lose points because of age.

And you're stealing someone's ITAs every draw now, boosting the general draw score, and it does not benefit you nor others.
Thank you so much!
