Accept OINP or go with IELTS revaluation?

I have received NOI under HCP program from OINP on 29th June 2017. I have scored 7.5 in ielts, although have 6.5 in writing due to which my score is 406.

I am confused now whether should I go for revaluation of IELTS score (as I need 0.5 marks more to boost my CRS to 459) or go ahead and accept the provoncial nomination of OINP?

I have heard that OINP has limited seats, and though it would take 5-7 weeks for IELTS revaluation, it is also possible that OINP will stop accepting more applications under HCP a month later.

I will advise if you go for reevaluation. No need to spend that money if you have some other leeway

Thanks for your suggestion. But what if Ontario immigration stops taking candidates in HCP stream a month later while my IELTS score is getting revaluated?

Not true. they can stop registrations once their quota is exhausted.

I dont agree with you...Once you have been nominated, you have 6 months of validity.

6 months to file an application. Once the quota is done, and If you have filed your application with OINP, most likely your nomination will be deferred to next year.
If the quota is done and you have NOT filed your application with OINP, you might not even be able to register with them let alone file an application.

I agree with @monavy , your invitation to apply lasts for 6 months but if the strict quota is reached before you apply then your NOI becomes null and void.

It's the risk we are taking.

My re evaluation was negative so i went forward with oinp. I would suggest the same to you. Since they have now started to invite ict people with scores below 400 the quota can get exhausted quickly. So choose wisely. Good luck!
