Hello Everyone,
I am from Pakistan and planning to apply for permanent residency under the express entry program.
My academic credentials are:
1. ACCA Member
2. BSC Applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK
3. M.COM equivalency from HEC Pakistan (Based on ACCA Membership)
My question is regarding WES.
I want to know if the M.COM equivalency will have any weightage in my WES Evaluation. (M.COM Equivalency means equivalent to Masters, i.e. 16-years of education). Rest of the qualifications are fully studied and I have the certificate and degree with transcripts respectively for ACCA and BSC. However, the M.COM equivalency is just a certificate mentioning that ACCA membership is equivalent to M.COM.
It is comparatively easier to get documents sent to WES through ACCA and OBU but going to HEC Pakistan and getting attestation done is an arduous process. So, if it does not have any weightage in evaluation I would not want to waste time on it.
I would highly appreciate if anybody who has gone through the same process can provide some guidance.
Thank you.
Furqan
