Hi all,
I came to Canada last year as an international student, i was a part-time student in fall, dropped my courses in the winter and then i had to withdraw from the faculty, due to health issues.
So now i'm suspended from school for a year and thinking of going to another college in september.
Is that a good option? or should i go back home and apply again?
I know about the new rules after 2014 that i have to be enrolled full-time/making progress... is failure to do so can lead to removal from Canada or loss of study permit?
I would appreciate an answer!
Thanks guys!

So what status do you think you have in Canada given you are no longer in education since which month exactly and assume you are not working now under the study permit ? This additional info might help some feedback on whether able to restore study or apply new .

You can apply to another college and study there from September since you still have a valid study permit. However, if you do not get admission in another college then you should go back home and apply for admission again because you cannot stay in Canada for a whole year if you do not have a full/part time status at a educational institution

I would take the risk and stay in Canada. This is in no way a formal suggestion. But just think logically, visa officers are more likely to reject your application when you are outside the country as then they do not have to do anything to process your removal. However when you are "in" Canada, it is much harder for them to get rid of you and the chances of getting into another college/uni and getting a Visa are much higher. Also please remember when you are under academic suspension, you need to let the authorities know. If you don't then this might be taken as a criminal offence.
