academic or general training module? - help

will an ielts academic module result be accepted in the FSW program or does it have to be specifically the general training module?

also, im not clear about the minimum scores...does cic get individual band scores per test type or the overall band score?

They do accept the academic module now but I heard it's harder than the general module. They do get the individual band scores instead of the total band scores.

OK, under the new rule, they don't accept IELTS Academic.

MaryP, according to my agent' it should be General Training module...score should be at least Listening 7.5 ( 4points), and the Reading 6.5 (4points), Writing 6.5 (4points), Speaking 6.5 (4points)...

The score of 16 or 12 points for Language proficiency can help you achieve the 67score for immigration.

U have to sit for General training IELTS (Academic will not be accepted, for unknown reason)

Go for an easy route if you have got an opportunity. Reading and writing sections are not easy-peasy at all in the Academic module.
