Hello,
I want to get some idea from someone who has been or is in the same situation.
I have been given absolute discharge for one of my charges in April 2024.
Right after that I applied for my Canadian Citizenship.
I have already completed my test and it is marked as completed on the tracker.
I had received letter to submit my fingerprints, which I have already done and confirmed with IRCC call centre that they have received them and my background is j in process (however they also mentioned security is passed but criminality is under review) once criminality is passed my background check will be marked as completed.
Can someone please clarify is it because of Absolute discharge?
And if someone was in same situation what happened to your application and what was the timeline.
Thank you in advance.
